Love Locks on Ha’Penny Bridge

The Ha’Penny bridge is a lovely spot in Dublin city center  Usually I’m too busy looking at the view over the water, looking at the people or just in a rush to get to where I’m going but a while back I noticed that more and more of these locks are appearing on the bridge.

  1. I’ve never seen those before – Romantic Irish?? The legend goes it is called the Ha’penny Bridge because that’s how much the “Ladies of the Night” charged for their services – Not so romantic !!

    1. Not sure, are you guys romantic? And didn’t know that the name came from that. I’ve heard it used to be toll for crossing.. Maybe that’s a more decent version of history? ;)
